Bloomington, Indiana, is located approximately 50 miles south of Indianapolis International Airport (IND).

***Non U.S. citizens/residents traveling to the US to attend UCANS-II should check on visa requirements well in advance, and apply for a visa as early as possible, as visa wait times can range from several days to several months.

Arriving by air

Rental cars and taxis are available at the airport. Rental companies are located inside the airport terminal on the ground level. Limousine and shuttle services to Bloomington operate out of the Ground Transportation Center.

Driving Instructions

From Indianapolis Airport to Bloomington and the Indiana Memorial Union – Biddle Hotel and Conference Center (conference venue, 900 East 7th Street)

• When exiting Indianapolis Airport, head northwest on Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Dr.
• Take ramp to I-465 S/I-74 E, proceed on I-465 S for approx. 8.2 miles to Exit 4 (Harding Street).
• Take Exit 4 to IN 37 S/S Harding Street. Proceed on IN 37 S for approx 43 miles towards Bloomington.
• Take Exit IN 45/46 E, turn left (east) onto IN 45/46.
• Turn right at N Walnut Street, which becomes N College Avenue.
• Turn left onto 7th Street, and continue 1.1 miles to Indiana Memorial Union and Biddle Hotel and Conference Center.
