** The conference venue for all sessions has been changed to the Center for Exploration of Energy and Matter, home of the Low Energy Neutron Source. The change has been made to accommodate the parallel sessions on the afternoon of Thursday, July 7, which will include the Poster Session, tours of LENS, and the opportunity for break-out small group discussions.

All meeting sessions will be held in the Center for Exploration of Energy and Matter (CEEM), located in Indiana University's Integrated Science and Accelerator Technology Hall (formerly the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility). Situated on the northern end of the campus, the Center is a multi-displinary laboratory performing research (experimental and theoretical) and development in accelerator physics, material research and nuclear physics and chemistry.
The laboratory is staffed by highly trained scientific, technical, and administrative staff members and serves approximately 110 on-site graduate students, postdoctoral research fellows and physics faculty members. In addition, research and development activities are carried out by scientists and students from around the world. The Center houses two linear acclerators, including the Low Energy Neutron Source.

UCANS-II includes a tour of the Low Energy Neutron Source at the Center for Exploration of Energy and Matter. The Low Energy Neutron Source (LENS) at Indiana University is the leading university-based facility in the area of neutron-scattering. Construction of LENS began in 2003, with the first cold neutron being produced in April 2005, and the first klystron-powered proton beam produced in December 2006. The source utilizes a low energy p-n reaction in Be coupled with a high-current, variable-pulse-width proton accelerator to produce either short or long neutron pulses. A highly optimized moderator produces cold and very cold neutrons for use by a suite of neutron scattering instruments and development facilities. LENS has a three-fold mission: to conduct materials research with neutrons, develop new neutron instrumentation for both fundamental and applied research, and to enhance education in the science and technology of neutrons at all levels.
