CEEM graduate student Jacob Zettlemoyer receives DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research award

CEEM graduate student Jacob Zettlemoyer has received the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science Graduate Student Research  (SCGSR) award  to work on the CENNS-10 Liquid Argon detector at the Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL) Spallation Neutron Source for the next year. This effort is part of the COHERENT neutrino experiment, an effort to detect the  never-before-seen neutrino coherent scattering process. 

Jacob is a third year Ph.D. student working with Prof. Rex  Tayloe at CEEM, and while at ORNL, he will be mentored by ORNL scientist, Dr. Jason  Newby.
