Our Mission

The Center for Exploration of Energy and Matter (CEEM) is a multidisciplinary laboratory performing research and development in the areas of nuclear physics and chemistry, and materials research. Our mission is to create knowledge, educate students and the general public, and to serve society through research and innovation.

CEEM Spotlight

IUCF Injector Magnet Project

As a permanent tribute to the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility (IUCF), we are displaying a sector of the IUCF injector magnet outside the Multidisciplinary Engineering and Sciences Hall. The magnet was part of the original test injector constructed for the IU cyclotrons, which operated from 1976-2014.
